Working from home
In case you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to try to work from home while your toddler is supposed to be taking a nap. Press the arrow below to listen in…
Alleke kept this up for a good 45 min. until I gave in and let her watch TV. This is not an ideal world, my friends.

OMG. Our oldest did this same thing 3 months ago when our new kid was born.
We had to drop 'nap time' and switch her to 'quiet time' on her bed for an hour. She gets to pick toys and books to play with it but must be quiet.
I miss nap time
Dad? Daaad? DAD! I think its pretty impressive you held out for 45 min!
She debates very well, doesn't she
Any idea why I lose my mouse pointer after a second of inactivity on the site?
(comes right back when I move it)
((only this site))
(((and alleke is still worth the visit
)))
My mouse did the same thing….
And, my daughter does this very same thing. Except on the days when she went to preschool in the morning. Then she "falls promptly asleep" as we say at our house.
Our 3 year old is phasing out of his nap too and its hard for me to adjust to since I always work during naptime too!!

That is always the scene in my place. I have a 3 year old son and he so like that. This is not an easy job to work from home.

That's too funny! I just had an experience like that yesterday. Except I was trying to get a 10 minute nap on the couch.
It was, "mom. mom. MOM!"
Until I opened my eyes and then it was, "Hi, mom."
So hi said hi and closed my eyes….
"mom. mom. mommomomomomomomom. mom. MOM!!"
Needless to say, there was no nap.
