Starting School in a Foreign Country (Teal Rapp)
We continue our series on dads talking about sending their kids to school in a foreign country. Teal Rapp says one of the hardest moments of his life was dropping his two daughters off at a French elementary school in Aix en Provence for their first day of school, knowing his girls didn’t speak a word of French. But, he doesn’t regret the decision now…

Your posts are so great! I love following yr writings. 10 months back, before we moved to Madrid from Seoul, where we lived almost 3 yrs previously, I was browsing thru couple of blogs to get some idea what life is like over here and yrs just caught my attention right away! Partly, because we're also foreigners living in Spain, just learning their language and also for the fact that we have a toddler who will be starting 'school' as of next September and facing the same questions. Your topics are so current and valid and a great deal of help for others too! Thanks and cheers
