ÁREA PARA NIÑOS DE 1 A 80 AÑOS
A few days ago I walked down to the playground with Alleke and noticed that someone had scribbled on the sign at the entrance with a permanent marker.
Where the sign used to read, “Area for kids ages 1 to 8,” someone had drawn in a small zero with a smiley face in the middle. Now it read, “Area for kids ages 1 to 80.”
I took that as an invitation to plop down next to Alleke and dig my hands in the sand. Funny, none of the other parents decided to join me.

I can’t believe no other parent was playing in the sand. I am looking forward to next spring when I can do that with my son.
