It’s a Boy!
Our friends Ben and Jo who live in Kansas City had a baby boy on Tuesday. The little guy’s name is Bennett Matthew. Congratulations guys!
Ben and I have been friends since we were six. The first time I had Ben over to my house we played in the snow in the front yard. We had so much fun that when my mom called us into the house (or lured us in with hot chocolate) and told us Ben’s mom was on her way to pick Ben up, we decided to hide in the cupboard in the bathroom so Ben could stay longer.
When Ben’s mom arrived, my mom called for us, and we didn’t answer. Our moms spent the next hour (or so I remember it) looking for us until we got bored and surrendered ourselves (probably for another cup of hot chocolate).
All I know is the first time little Bennett meets our little girl, I’ll have my eye on both of them. Mischief may be in the air.
