Baby Food
No, I’m not referring to the goo that comes in jars. I’m sure there will be time to experiment with that later. I’m talking about the food mom demands for the baby before the baby is even born. What she eats, she tells me, the baby eats.
It’s the closest thing I’ve received to a decree from the King.
“In the name of the baby,” she says, “I request Stuffed Eggplant for dinner.”
She even sent me a link this morning by email to the recipe she had in mind. I thought she was busy studying at the university library, but it turns out she was looking up stuffed eggplant recipes.
Two hours later, no exaggeration, and dinner is ready.
A banquet fit for a king.

Hi Damian,
Thanks for stopping by Spain Dad.
I’m not sure if I can be of much help because I’ve never been to Tenerife, and we don’t use formula with Alleke, but what I can tell you is that most of the water in continental Spain is drinkable. Actually, Madrid has excellent water, and we drink right from the tap just like we did when we lived in the US.
In some spots like Barcelona, however, the water just tastes bad, so I don’t drink it when I visit.
I hope that helps, for whatever it’s worth.

Hi There Spaindad.
Just found your site via Google. I know may be completely off topic for what you blog about, but we’re about to go on holiday to Tenerife with our 6 month old daughter who is still being breastfed, we also top up with formula,
What I would like to know is if you used formula ihn the early days of your baby, what kind of water did you use, I know tap water is definately not for use, so far all I have heard is to use Evian, unless you know something different.
Hope you can help
Best Regards
