Starting School in a Foreign Country
Alleke will be starting preschool in the mornings this fall, so I went looking for some dads who could give me advice about sending kids to school in a foreign country. I hope you find my short video interviews with them useful.
Hud McWilliams – creating a safe environment at home where kids can talk about school
Phil Graf – running a democratic household where kids are involved in making decisions about schooling
Teal Rapp – sending your kids to school in a foreign language they don’t speak
Lawrence Braniff – another option is sending your kids for half days or homeschooling them.
Jay Sensenig – setting aside time every day after school to talk to your kids.
